Panelists/Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) are necessary for the evaluation of the National Defense Science and Engineering Graduate (NDSEG) Fellowship Program.  If you are interested in serving on a panel to evaluate applications, please register below along with uploading your resume/cv, an application link with additional questions will be forwarded to you.

Eligibility Criteria:  
                                             Doctoral Degrees  with experience in Science and Engineering Disciplines
                                       Master's Degree & Ten (10) years of experience within Science and Engineering Disciplines

Disciplines:   Aeronautical and Aeronautical and Astronautical Engineering, Biosciences (includes toxicology)
Chemical Engineering, Chemistry, Civil Engineering, Cognitive, Neural, and Behavioral Sciences, Computer and Computational Sciences, Electrical Engineering, Geosciences (includes terrain, water, and air), Materials Science and Engineering, Mathematics, Mechanical Engineering, Naval Architecture and Ocean Engineering (includes undersea systems), Oceanography (includes ocean acoustics, remote sensing, and marine meteorology), Physics (including optics)

Panel Review Period:  February 1- February 20, 2018

Application Closing Date:
 January 12, 2018 

Honorarium:  Subject Matter Experts who are approved to serve on the panel receive a $600.00

SME Registration :  

  • SMEs from academica, government, and industry science and technology community are welcome to apply.  

  • The Selection Review Panel will be responsible for reviewing and ranking all eligible applicants.

  • STI-TEC will review all complete applications for eligibilty requirements prior to assembling the Reveiw Panels
